My prior job was a cardboard manufacturing company. I joined Packwell because I wanted to keep working on manufacturing and to make us of the experience of my previous job.
Currently, I work in the manufacturing department engaged in operator work. If you define the work of the operator simply, it means "machine operation". However, it is not only a job to turn on the machine, but also a position where various knowledge and techniques are required.
For example, in packaging, compatibility between paper and glue is important, but even with the same glue, the adhesion rate may change with humidity or temperature. We operators must identify them and formulate the best glue. Such a craftsman-like aspect is also the interesting and difficult part of the operator.
Packwell's culture that recognizes big mistakes as a source of growth.
In fact, I have made a big mistake before.
The mistake occurred after I joined the company few months, it was when I started feeling loose. Due to the mistake I made blending the glue, I had to collect all the shipped products.
After I had my seniors help me with the re-inspection I managed to have the products delivered. However, I was worried that I would be scolded.
But instead, my superiors and seniors said that "Everyone makes mistakes, and we should learn from this failure.".
After this incident, it has triggered a greater sense of responsibility and ambition for work. Now that I have juniors, I would always want to have enough time and knowledge to be able to correspond to the problems my juniors face like my seniors did for me.
I want to acquire a wide range of knowledge and skill with interest in everything.
I was originally not good at giving instructions, but after joining the company, I think I became capable to demonstrate some leadership by becoming the leader of the manufacture line.
The next goal is to become a multiplayer who is familiar with all the machines in the company. For that purpose, I am consciously interested in the work of the next manufacture line, and if there is something I do not understand, I will ask regardless if it is a senior or a junior.

I hope I would be said that way someday.
